We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to support a major M&A infrastructure integration programme.
This is a highly hands-on position where you will help stabilise, migrate and integrate a legacy IT environment into a large enterprise infrastructure. You will work across servers, virtualisation, networking, storage, backups and data migration, while ensuring changes are delivered securely and with minimal disruption.
The Role- Supporting and migrating Windows Server and Dell infrastructure
- Managing VMware and/or Hyper-V environments
- Configuring and troubleshooting Cisco Meraki networking
- Managing VLANs, ACLs, firewall rules and network segmentation
- Supporting Veeam Backup & Replication
- Managing QNAP/NAS storage
- Planning and executing server and data migrations
- Racking, unracking, cabling and legacy infrastructure decommissioning
- Producing technical documentation and migration plans
- Acting as a senior escalation point for infrastructure issues
- Providing knowledge transfer and support to junior engineers
You will need strong hands-on experience with:
- Windows Server
- Dell server hardware
- VMware and/or Hyper-V
- Cisco Meraki
- Veeam Backup & Replication
- QNAP or similar NAS/storage technologies
- TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and routing
- Infrastructure and data migrations
Previous experience working on M&A integrations, infrastructure transformation or large-scale migration programmes would be highly advantageous.
Knowledge of Active Directory, Entra , cloud environments, SaaS tenant migrations or Linux would also be beneficial.
