Salary: £36,000 - 76,000 per year

• 4 years related work experience.
• 4 years of progressive experience in software engineering, enterprise architecture, or technology leadership across multiple products, systems, and/or platforms.
• 4 years working in application solutions design delivering IT solutions.
• 4 years of experience in enterprise applications database, distributed computing, virtualization, and/or application technology.
• Experience in delivering industrial platforms or horizontal software middleware.
• Knowledge of technologies and common packaged platform/systems such as PRINCE2, PMP, and Agile is beneficial.
• Significant experience of application development in an organisation of similar scope and scale to Scottish Power, with previous solutions application design experience in a global organisation preferred.
• Significant Service Now experience.

• We contribute to the development of the strategic OT Asset Information Management solution and are responsible for its implementation.
• We work as a senior member of the programme delivery team and make application design decisions that satisfy both local and global requirements.
• We define effective application designs on capital IT projects up to £5m.
• We lead teams of internal resources, supplemented by external contractors as required, and manage the execution of application solutions on behalf of SPEN.
• We provide expert advice on specific application platforms to transformation teams and projects.
• We provide expert input to global and local definition of strategy, standards, and procedures relating to specific application areas.
• We develop detailed design solutions identified by the Architecture & Strategy team.
• We oversee and manage 2L and 3L support partners, ensuring quality of service and continuous service improvement.

We are offering a hybrid role based in Glasgow on an initial 12-month contract with a competitive rate umbrella or PAYE. The role is for a Service Now consultant supporting Scottish Power, contributing to the strategic OT Asset Information Management solution as part of a senior programme delivery team.
