• Strong experience working as a Dev Ops Engineer in enterprise environments.
• Advanced experience in Infrastructure Service Incident Management.
• Proven expertise designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and deployment tooling.
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies and modern Dev Ops practices.
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production and infrastructure issues.
• Experience collaborating across multiple technical teams and stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of security principles within Dev Ops environments.
• Experience with SRE observability tools and practices.
• Knowledge of Configuration & Release Management processes.
• Experience with Cloud Automation Dev Ops frameworks and tooling.
• Previous experience within financial services or other highly regulated environments.

• Build, maintain and enhance development tools, platforms and infrastructure.
• Design, develop and support CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
• Drive infrastructure automation initiatives to improve deployment efficiency, consistency and reliability.
• Work closely with engineering, operations and security teams to resolve complex infrastructure and deployment challenges.
• Monitor system performance and proactively implement improvements to enhance scalability, resilience and security.
• Support cloud-based environments and containerised applications.
• Contribute to infrastructure design decisions, technical roadmaps and deployment strategies.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance, sharing Dev Ops best practices across teams.
• Ensure environments remain secure, compliant and operationally resilient.

We are recruiting for an experienced Dev Ops Engineer to join a high-profile technology programme with one of the worlds leading financial services organisations. This is an on-site role Monday to Friday in Glasgow, Scotland, on a 24-week contract. You will join a fast-paced Software Engineering team within a critical delivery unit focused on infrastructure improvements, automation initiatives, and cloud-based deployment capabilities across enterprise-scale environments.
