DevOps Engineer

Provn is proud to be partnered with an international multi-strategy investment business as they look for a Dev Ops Engineer to join their Glasgow office.

As the business continues to grow its global platform engineering capabilities, the successful candidate will play a key role in developing and maintaining cloud infrastructure while supporting modern Dev Ops practices across the organisation.

The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of cloud infrastructure and automation initiatives, contributing to hybrid infrastructure strategy, and collaborating with stakeholders across the business.

Candidates should have strong experience working with AWS environments and infrastructure-as-code tools, alongside a solid understanding of cloud networking, security, and Dev Ops tooling.

• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure primarily within AWS Support and enhance hybrid cloud and on-prem infrastructure environments
• Build and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tooling
• Work closely with engineering and quantitative teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions
• Support CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops tooling across the platform engineering function
• Contribute to monitoring, logging, and observability capabilities across cloud services

• Experience working with AWS cloud services (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda etc.)
• Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools
• Solid understanding of AWS networking, IAM roles, and cloud cost management
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops tooling
• Scripting experience (Python desirable)
• Experience working within hybrid cloud environments is beneficial
