We are seeking a talented individual to join our Enterprise team at Marsh Commercial. This role will be based in Glasgow or Dundee. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least four days a week in the office.

We have an exciting opportunity here at Marsh Commercial, as we’re looking to recruit a Client Advisor to join us in our Enterprise Centre of Excellence. Within your role you’ll be responsible for servicing both new & existing clients with a range of commercial insurance products. For this role we are happy to consider those with either personal lines or commercial insurance experience, as well as those without any prior insurance experience.

If successful you’ll be provided with a first‑class induction, as well as be given the opportunity to attain chartered insurance qualifications. Once you have received initial training and support, you will be responsible for servicing a dedicated portfolio of clients, which can involve managing renewals, invoicing, producing new quotes, upselling/cross‑selling additional products whilst handling any additional queries that are presented.

• Providing excellent client service on all aspects of account management to our clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards.
• Ensuring timely completion of all set tasks ensuring client satisfaction at all times.
• Demonstrating adaptability when required to support colleagues in completing business critical tasks.
• Developing meaningful working relationships with our insurer partners through regular contact and liaison to better serve our clients.
• Through training, coaching and mentoring, gaining a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance we offer our clients and keeping abreast of new technical and product developments.

• Ideally you’ll have a minimum of one year’s experience within insurance, from either personal lines or within commercial insurance.
• Strong literacy, numeracy, administration and communication skills, demonstrated via qualifications/grades earned during education.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and work flexibly when required.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
• Experience utilising the Microsoft Office suite and similar products.
