You will work on a rotating shift pattern between 8 am – 6 pm (Monday – Friday).

Responsibilities
  • Work in partnership with Loss Adjusters in the field, proactively handling and supporting a varied caseload of Domestic claims up to £50K.
  • Agree mitigation on losses at first notification of loss (FNOL) as required, using judgement, knowledge and experience to gather evidence and determine the best possible outcome.
  • Book appointments for Property Adjusters, providing relevant information beforehand.
  • Ensure alternative accommodation for claimants where required, reducing claim life cycles to control costs.
  • Remove process hurdles, investigate root causes, resolve problems and collate all necessary details to achieve swift settlements.
Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of Domestic claims with the ability to confidently deal up to the value of £50K.
  • Ability to negotiate & settle claims using a variety of methods in line with TCF and Client requirements.
  • Strong customer skills and good communication skills with all stakeholders.
  • Highly experienced in resolving difficult & complex claims.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively, including report writing.
  • Ability to work in a structured manner to drive quality.
  • High personal standards of service delivery as a core skill.
  • Ability to empathise and communicate at all levels.
  • Evidenced ability to plan and organise workload.
  • Technical competence and experience of handling property losses up to an agreed value.

Due to the nature of our work, this role is subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
