We have a great opportunity for a Claims Adjuster to join our Chubb Global Markets team in our Glasgow Office. As a Claims Handler at Chubb, you'll manage a diverse portfolio of claims across multiple lines of business. From coverage analysis and investigation to evaluating policy liability, legal liability, and quantum, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to our clients.

While experience in Marine, Aviation, Property, or Casualty Claims is advantageous, we welcome candidates with claims handling expertise in other areas.

• Negotiate settlement of claims to bring them to a successful conclusion.
• Engage with policy holders, other professionals, insurers, loss adjusters, brokers, solicitors and third parties.
• Self-manage own caseload to ensure prompt settlement of files, accuracy and timeliness including control of vendor expenses.
• Focus on service delivery across the team for all internal/external client groups and stakeholders.
• Act as part of a team to ensure both team and individual goals are met.
• Work with third-party service providers to ensure claims service standards are maintained.
• Represent Chubb at internal and external meetings including review meetings with brokers, key clients and potentially London market representatives.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and look after key accounts through providing timely and clear responses to correspondence received.
• Provide general assistance and support to senior claims adjusters, managers and underwriters including projects and ad-hoc tasks as they arise.

• Preference for professionally qualified individuals – ACII, or progression towards.
• Previous experience in a claims handling role.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
