Role Description

This is a full‑time hybrid role for a Surveyor/Loss Assessor based in the Glasgow area.

The Surveyor/Loss Assessor will carry out property surveys, assess damage, and accurately document findings. The role includes preparing detailed reports and submitting comprehensive insurance claims on behalf of clients. Responsibilities also involve liaising directly with insurance companies, reviewing insurance policies and negotiating settlements, all while prioritising client interests and ensuring claims are professionally managed from start to finish.

Qualifications
  • Practical and technical expertise in property surveying, loss assessment, insurance claims or related fields
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and client management skills
  • Experience in preparing detailed reports and documentation
  • Knowledge of insurance claims processes and relevant policies
  • Proficiency with standard office and project management tools
  • Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities
  • Relevant professional qualifications in property surveying or insurance-related disciplines
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel within the Glasgow and central belt area
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
