CSG @ DAC Beachcroft is looking for Paralegals to join our Property Recoveries team for property damage claims. This exciting opportunity involves a varied caseload of both Pursuer and Defender work in the Sheriff Court (simple procedure and ordinary cause). The role is based at our Glasgow office and requires attendance 5 days per week for the first six months. Regular social and responsible business events are organised, with opportunities to join our inclusion and diversity networks.

• Support the team with a varied property recoveries case load under appropriate supervision.
• Handle property insurance litigation tasks on simple procedure and ordinary cause claims.
• Carry out preliminary investigations and evidence gathering for solicitors.
• Draft letters and reports to clients.
• Negotiate damages and legal expenses with third‑party loss adjusters, insurers and solicitors.
• Research and analyse documents to provide advice to team members or direct to clients.
• Enforce judgments against third parties.
• Work on predominantly Pursuer cases, with occasional Defender claim management.

• Graduates or those with customer service/retail experience who are team players and passionate about learning, or Paralegals already experienced in a legal environment.
• Preferably holding a degree in Law (LLB or equivalent) or Paralegal/CILEX qualification.
• Highly organised, confident communicator with outstanding eye for detail.
• Interested in and preferably with a basic understanding of general contract and delict.
• IT literate, good knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience of a case management system is an advantage.
• Team orientated and willing to share knowledge and support colleagues.
• Able to adopt a commercial perspective rather than an academic approach to claim settlements.
