Associate / Senior Associate (2-8+ PQE) - Corporate Lending (Global Loans) Glasgow or London | Hybrid Working

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a globally recognised practice advising lenders, borrowers, private equity sponsors, investment funds and corporates on complex domestic and cross-border financing transactions.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Associate or Senior Associate with 2-8+ years' PQE to become part of a collaborative and high-performing team known for its technical excellence, commercial approach and innovative thinking.

You'll work across a broad range of corporate lending matters, supporting high-profile clients on sophisticated financing transactions from term sheet stage through to completion and beyond. The role offers significant responsibility, direct client exposure and the opportunity to work closely with leading practitioners across an international platform.

Key responsibilities include:

• Drafting and negotiating facility agreements and intercreditor agreements.
• Advising clients on corporate lending transactions and financing structures.
• Negotiating with counter parties and leading transaction calls.
• Coordinating multi-jurisdictional transactions and liaising with local counsel.
• Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and trainees.
• Building and developing client relationships with major financial institutions and corporate clients.

You will be a qualified solicitor with:

• 2-8+ years' PQE and strong corporate lending experience.
• Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating finance documentation within a private practice environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills.
• Experience working on complex or multi-jurisdictional transactions.
• A proactive, collaborative approach and a genuine interest in business development.
