Medical Negligence Solicitor – Pursuer | Glasgow | Salary guide up to £65,000
Cape Clarke would like to hear from Scottish-qualified solicitors interested in pursuer medical negligence opportunities in Glasgow. The campaign is aimed at lawyers with around 2–5 PQE and relevant medical negligence, personal injury or other civil litigation experience.
The work involves investigating allegations arising from medical treatment, reviewing records, obtaining expert opinions and assessing causation and loss. Relevant experience includes preparing claims under Scots procedure, working with counsel and supporting litigation in the Sheriff Court or Court of Session.
You should be able to analyse detailed evidence, draft clearly and communicate sensitively with individuals and families dealing with serious injury or bereavement. Strong organisation and an interest in complex litigation are important. The level of file responsibility will depend on the particular opportunity and your background.
The indicative salary guide is up to £65,000, depending on the firm and relevant experience. Specific vacancies, approved budgets and working arrangements will be discussed confidentially.
