Gama Aviation is seeking an experienced Stores Supervisor to join our Glasgow facility, supporting supply chain and warehousing operations for the Scottish Air Ambulance Service and Business Support Units. This role is central to ensuring the efficient, compliant, and timely availability of aircraft parts, tooling, and materials within a regulated aviation MRO environment.

Working a Monday to Friday split-shift pattern (0700‑1500 & 1000‑1900), the Stores Supervisor will take ownership of day‑to‑day warehouse operations, coordinating closely with Engineering and Logistics teams to maintain effective stock control, support AOG requirements, and ensure uninterrupted operational delivery across supported bases.

The Stores Supervisor will be proficient in warehousing, part accountability, stock rotation and purchasing and remain committed in their approach to work, prioritising the needs of the Scottish Air Ambulance as a primary focus. This role will also have responsibility for the maintenance, calibration and supply of tooling to the engineering workforce across the Engineering Service Line, Gama Aviation and its associated supported bases of Aberdeen and Inverness.

Responsibilities Warehousing, Customs and Tool Control
  • Ensuring the correct storage and distribution of all of components, parts, materials and tools in-line with OEM recommendations and airworthiness regulations .
  • Management of all warehouse tasks inclusive of shelf life, stock rotation, calibration.
  • Ensure daily, weekly and monthly checks are carried out iaw airworthiness regulations.
  • Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, tidy and as efficient as possible.
  • Ensuring all goods in processing is conducted in accordance aircraft regulations .
  • Deliver the physical selection of, and completion of stock / tooling issues to Engineering.
  • Ensuring all Dangerous Goods (DG) to and from vendors / outstations are iaw with these regulations.
  • Ensuring t he p rompt management of all core returns from the maintenance hangar.
  • Processing all rotables through the supply chain to the appropriate vendors avoiding penalty clauses.
  • Ensure the auditable and quality processes are meet.
  • Complete HMRC customs import and export clearance as required.
Procurement (as required in support of the purchasing department)
  • Ensure the cost-effective procurement of AOG aircraft spares and services
  • Deliver accurate and representative stock holdings iaw recognised calculations and provisions.
  • Manage the distribution of stocks across the MRO outstations Aberdeen and Inverness.
  • Ensure all 3 rd party cores are observed and returned to retailers as mandated by time scale.
  • Support aircraft maintenance checks undertaken at remote bases within Scotland.
  • Ensure accuracy of all orders inclusive of cost, purchasing method and linked requisitions.
  • Ensure expediting and progression is conducted, recorded and uploaded to the MRO software.
Forward Planning
  • Ensure planning and coordination with engineering for upcoming aircraft checks and communicating with engineers daily to ensure they are fully updated on their incoming parts requirements.
  • Deliver accurate and representative stock holdings and ensure outstation support is provided for Aberdeen and Inverness ensuring dispatched items have been received and are logged on the MRP inventory control system and the subsequent recording of any usage.
  • Support is provided for aircraft maintenance checks undertaken at remote bases.
Communicate
  • Ensure timely updates to the MRO of all parts received and their schedule for delivery.
  • Ensure coordination with engineering is conducted.
