Senior Consultant, Supply Chain and Operations – Procurement

As a Senior Consultant in our Procurement Transformation consulting team, you will support our clients in navigating unprecedented global uncertainty, volatility and risk within supply chains. You will work on a range of different client projects across industry sectors and the full procurement lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a workstream within a project, completing analysis, engaging with clients and taking responsibility for deliverables.
- Apply problem‑solving skills to deliver high‑quality work for clients and project teams.
- Build, maintain and strengthen relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and procurement stakeholders.
- Collaborate with colleagues across EY globally to deliver the best possible outcomes.
- Support the delivery of internal procurement training programs.
- Help shape EY’s leading procurement practices and methodology.
- Contribute to proposal development to showcase EY’s leading practices.
- Deliver high‑value complex strategic sourcing projects, supporting clients to identify and onboard suppliers.
- Engage business stakeholders and suppliers to shape category strategies that meet organisational needs.
- Conduct third‑party spend assessments using analytics tools and identify opportunities to reduce cost.
- Assist clients in navigating supplier performance issues and implementing leading‑practice contract and supplier management capabilities.
- Review current procurement operating models and implement improvements.
- Provide formal and informal procurement training to client teams.
- Implement leading procurement technology practices, including Robotic Process Automation, Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Data Analytics.
- Experience with in procurement.
- Ability to write to a high standard.
- Track record of operating in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw insights from diverse data sources.
- Capability to work successfully with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working with diverse teams.
- Professional body membership or qualifications such as CIPS or IACCM is highly desirable but not mandatory.
