At Craig of Campbeltown Group, our engineering teams play a vital role in keeping our vehicles safe, reliable and on the road. We're looking for a Workshop Labourer to join our team at Charles Street, Glasgow, helping to maintain high workshop standards and supporting our engineering operation across the network.

This is an important hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team and is willing to get stuck in wherever needed.

What you'll be doing

As a Workshop Labourer, you'll help ensure our workshop remains clean, organised and operating efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, housekeeping and presentation throughout the workshop and yard.
  • Supporting engineers and workshop staff with general labouring duties.
  • Moving, collecting and distributing vehicle parts, consumables and materials between workshops, depots and suppliers.
  • Receiving and organising deliveries.
  • Assisting with stock movements and storage of parts and materials.
  • Ensuring working areas remain safe, tidy and well-presented.
  • Supporting the wider engineering team as required to keep our operation running smoothly.
What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds a full UK driving licence (essential).
  • Takes pride in maintaining high standards.
  • Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Is reliable, flexible and willing to support colleagues.
  • Works well independently and as part of a team.
  • Has good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous workshop, stores, warehouse or engineering experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
