We're looking for The Logistics Manager is responsible for the end-to-end back-of-house beverage supply operation for live events, conferences and exhibitions s includes beverage procurement, supplier management, cellar/warehouse operations, stock control, financial management of liquor, delivery and distribution to event outlets, and the planning and execution of large-scale event beverage setups.

The role will oversee the movement of significant volumes of beverage stock from supplier delivery through to storage, distribution and post-event reconciliation, ensuring accurate stock control, cost management and minimal wastage. The role will work closely with operational and commercial teams to ensure that beverage requirements are accurately forecast, ordered and delivered, with the right stock available at the right location and at the right time.

The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced live-event environment and managing complex logistical requirements across multiple event spaces and outlets. - The Role Event Planning and Coordination:
Collaborate with event organisers to understand specific logistics requirements for each live event, conference, or exhibition. Develop comprehensive logistics plans that encompass resource allocation, transportation, and setup schedules. Ensure effective communication and coordination with internal teams, external vendors, and third-party service providers. Resource Management:
Cellar management - from placing orders to overseeing Beverage stock arrivals, deliveries and distribution Oversee the procurement, storage, and distribution of event materials, equipment, and supplies. Optimise resource allocation to minimise waste and reduce costs while maintaining high standards of quality. Implement efficient inventory management systems to track and control event-related assets. Vendor and Supplier Relations:
Identify, negotiate, and manage contracts with external vendors and suppliers to secure the best possible services and pricing. Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners to ensure reliable and consistent support for events. Budget Management:
Develop and manage budgets for logistics operations, ensuring financial goals are met and costs are controlled. Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and report on budget performance to senior management. Transportation and Logistics Coordination:
Coordinate transportation logistics for equipment, materials, and personnel, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to and from the venue. Implement and optimise transportation routes to minimise environmental impact and reduce overall logistics costs.
