We’re looking for a hands‑on problem solver with a passion for maintenance and a commitment to excellence to oversee the upkeep of a number of care homes in the Glasgow Region, ensuring they remain safe, comfortable, and well‑maintained for our residents and staff.

• Handle minor repairs and replace light bulbs to keep facilities in prime condition.
• Perform routine maintenance and service all tools and machinery.
• Inspect electrical panels and wiring, resolving issues before they escalate.
• Install new appliances and equipment, ensuring correct setup.
• Maintain outdoor areas, mowing lawns and collecting trash.
• Test safety systems such as fire alarms, ensuring readiness.
• Inspect and repair building surfaces, keeping spaces functional.
• Participate in renovation projects to improve facilities.
• Collaborate with a facilities or maintenance manager to report and resolve larger issues.
• Ensure all work adheres to our high standards of quality, health, and safety.

• Experience in facilities or building maintenance.
• Strong problem‑solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends.
• On‑call availability for emergencies.
