Maintenance​/Cleaning Technician, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic

The role

Glasgow Science Centre are recruiting for an exciting newly created role within our GSC Team.

The Facilities Technician will play a key role in planning and completing a range of planned maintenance works and carry out installations and preventative and corrective maintenance to the building systems. You'll be proactive in your working approach, taking ownership and accountability for inspections and remedial repairs to the required standard.

You'll have demonstrable knowledge and experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role, particularly in relation to electrical and mechanical maintenance services. You are able to work well under pressure, with a diverse range of people and are flexible in your approach to work. You are confident in leading maintenance works and are able to work weekends and on call shifts when required.
