Hours: 40 hours per week (shift pattern: 7:00 am‑3:00 pm & 1:30 pm‑9:30 pm, Monday‑Friday).

We work in partnership with our clients and end‑users to ensure our 24/7 services are delivered to the highest standard with minimal impact or disruption to day‑to‑day operational requirements of the schools.

• Ensure smooth running of the school premises.
• Carry out day‑to‑day DIY/maintenance and minor repairs (e.g., furniture fixtures, wall repairs).
• Ensure heating, lighting and alarm systems are working properly.
• Daily responsibility to check that all doors and windows are locked when the building is not in use.
• Check premises to guard against vandalism.
• Arrange chairs and tables for meetings or assemblies and clear away afterwards.
• Litter picking and general clearing of external areas.

• Knowledge and previous experience in practical DIY skills for minor repair.
• Good team player.
• Flexible with shift work.
• Good at developing strong working relationships with on‑site client and employees.
• Experience supporting local and business zero‑carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner where appropriate.
• Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract.
• Full driving licence required as covering multiple sites on account.
