Housekeeping Assistant (Bank) – Glasgow Hospital – Cleaning – Part time Day shifts & Weekend. Pay £13.10 per hour.
Job OverviewAs a Housekeeping Assistant at our Glasgow Hospitals, you will organise your work and plan your time to ensure that cleaning never gets in the way of a customer’s experience.
Responsibilities and Duties- Maintain cleanliness in clinical and non-clinical areas
- Follow IPC (infection prevention and control) best practices
- Work with power cleaning equipment
- Work well under pressure, both individually and within a team
- Adhere to COSHH regulations and demonstrate working knowledge
- Maintain current PVG (Public Vulnerability Group) status
- Show a flexible approach to shift working
- Knowledge of IPC and associated best practices
- Healthcare experience preferred but not essential
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of COSHH
- Good communication skills and friendly nature
- Holiday in line with the Working Time Directive
