The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the effective management and delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and engineering services across the estate. The role ensures the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of mechanical and electrical building services, plant, equipment, and infrastructure while maintaining high standards of service delivery, statutory compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical building services, plant, equipment, and estate infrastructure.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a multi-skilled maintenance team, including supervisors, engineers, tradespeople, maintenance assistants, and support staff.
- Plan, prioritise, and coordinate daily maintenance activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and within agreed service levels.
- Monitor maintenance performance, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, operational targets, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide technical guidance and support on estates, facilities, and engineering matters to senior management, operational teams, and stakeholders.
