The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Construction Site Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations on site. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple trades on a live site.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Manage daily site operations and workforce.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and deliveries.
  • Hold morning briefings and toolbox talks.
  • Ensure work is carried out in line with project programming and sequencing.
  • Work with the T‑Squared project manager to quickly deal with any site issues.
Health, Safety & Compliance
  • Enforce all H&S legislation including CDM regulations.
  • Conduct site inductions, RAMS reviews, and regular safety inspections.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant site at all times.
  • Ensure all incidents, near misses, and accidents are recorded and reported.
  • To carry out safety inspections and reports through the T‑Squared Evotix system including all RAMS reviews, weekly sub‑contractor reports, and information.
Quality Control
  • Monitor workmanship and ensure all works meet specification.
  • Review and sign off completed tasks.
  • Identify defects and manage snagging through to completion.
  • Ensure materials and installations meet client standards.
  • To work within the ITP (Inspection and Test Plan) created by the T‑Squared project manager and that quality inspections are carried out and recorded to the correct standard.
  • Work with the T‑Squared project manager to maintain the construction schedule.
  • Identify risks or delays early and put mitigation plans in place.
  • Organize labor and materials to meet programme milestones.
Communication & Reporting
  • Act as the primary on‑site contact for contractors and interface with the client to ensure their day‑to‑day operations are maintained.
  • Provide daily/weekly progress updates to the project team to inform the overall progress report for project.
  • Attend meetings with internal teams and external contractors.
  • Maintain detailed site diaries and documentation.
Subcontractor Supervision
  • Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure method statements are followed.
  • Resolve site‑based issues quickly and professionally.
  • Ensure safe working practices and high‑quality standards throughout.
Documentation & Administration
  • Keep accurate records of progress, delays, variations, and deliveries liaising with the T‑Squared project manager and cost manager.
  • Ensure drawings and documentation are current and properly issued.
  • Manage permits to work and ensure all compliance paperwork is complete.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental policies.
  • Manage waste, site cleanliness, and logistics.
  • Maintain site security and enforce company standards.
What We Are Looking For
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Supervisor.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, H&S regulations, and quality standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience managing subcontractors on live projects.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office / project management software.
  • Driving license required.

  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) – Essential
  • CSCS Manager’s Card – Essential
  • First Aid at Work – Essential
  • Temporary Works Coordinator – Preferred
