Job OverviewWe are looking for an experienced and passionate Area Service & Repair Manager to join our Scotland division based in our Glasgow offices, reporting to the Regional Operations Manager. This role will be responsible for directing and supervising their Service and Repair teams and jobs in a safe, quality driven and cost-effective manner.
Responsibilities- Maximise sales through prospecting new business and dealing with current repeat business customers and review contract renewals
- Manage operational metrics in line with targets
- Management and coordination of the Service and Repair teams, including carrying out monthly meetings, performance reviews, health and safety vists etc
- Authorisation and management of engineer's time sheets, holidays and night call rotas.
- Ensure up-to-date recording of tooling register
- Undertake as required audits of Company assets
- Be a champion for continuous Customer Service and Health & Safety regulations to convey TK Elevator behaviour and commitments
- Undertake regular site visits
- Carry out new installation's handover with NI Projects Managers
- Active management of Lift & Escalators-off works
- NVQ3 in Service Maintenance & Repairs is desirable
- Previous experience in a supervisory role managing a team
- Experience working in an Operational role in an engineering/manufacturing or construction industry.
- Hold a full UK Driving License and able to travel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to use your initiative and work well with others
- Positive attitude and receptive to change
- Extremely organised
- Superior customer-care skills
- The ability to self-assess and take ownership of personal development
