Marmon Lift Recruitment is supporting one of the UK’s leading lift engineering companies in the search for an experienced and driven Lift Service Manager based in Glasgow.
Our client is a large, well-established lift engineering organisation with a strong national presence and reputation for service excellence. The Lift Service Manager will take full responsibility for managing the Glasgow-based service team, ensuring operational performance, safety compliance, and high levels of customer satisfaction across the region.
This is a key leadership role that offers the opportunity to drive performance, develop engineers, and contribute to continued regional growth.
Responsibilities:
Lift Service Manager
* Lead and manage the Glasgow Service team, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of repair and maintenance activities.
* Oversee scheduling, route planning, and resource allocation to meet customer expectations and contractual KPIs.
* Monitor and drive performance metrics to ensure productivity and profitability targets are met.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, manage escalations, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
* Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, conducting audits and ensuring compliance with industry standards, PPE, tools, and vehicle requirements.
* Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of engineers and support staff.
* Manage departmental budgets, cost control, and financial performance.
* Work closely with senior leadership, sales, and account management teams to ensure seamless service delivery and identify growth opportunities.
Ideal Candidate:
Lift Service Manager
* Proven leadership experience within the lift industry, ideally within service or repairs management.
* Minimum 3 years’ experience managing lift service operations or engineering teams.
* Strong technical knowledge of lift systems, repairs, maintenance, and relevant safety legislation.
* Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and KPIs.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
* Driven, organised, and committed to delivering operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
