Senior Technical Services Manager No Fixed Place of Work Covering our sites in Scotland (Edinburgh, Glasgow, Elgin, Fife) & occasionally Runcorn

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Services Manager (Hard Services) to lead the delivery of all technical and hard services across our clients sites in Scotland and Runcorn portfolio. This role is responsible for providing strong technical leadership, ensuring statutory compliance, driving service excellence, and supporting continuous improvement across the account. You will also provide technical support to the wider Sodexo business as required.

This is a varied,
mobile role ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple sites, solving problems, and playing a key part in a collaborative FM team.

As a Senior Technical Services Manager you'll:
  • Lead, manage, mentor, and develop a high‑performing Technical and Hard Services Administration team.
  • Oversee the planning and delivery of all PPMs, reactive works, and projects, ensuring compliance with statutory, contractual, and SLA requirements.
  • Manage CAFM systems, PPM schedules, work orders, purchase orders, invoicing, and financial control of hard services.
  • Manage mobile engineering teams and subcontractors, ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety, Permit to Work, RAMS, and Safe Systems of Work are fully implemented and maintained.
  • Act as the technical lead for major supplier contracts, including fire systems, and represent Sodexo in technical discussions with the client.
  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and cost‑saving initiatives while maintaining service quality.
  • Manage client relationships, handle escalations, and work closely with stakeholders across the Diageo portfolio.
  • Support financial performance through cost control, pricing reviews, and the costing of new hard services opportunities.
What we’re looking for:
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a Facilities Management Hard Services environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of engineering systems and hard services delivery.
  • Proven experience managing teams, contractors, and supplier contracts.
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
  • Relevant technical or professional qualification.
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Office, Outlook, and CAFM systems (Maximo preferred).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, and willing to travel as required.
