About the role
Our national Lifting division hires a range of equipment, including hoists, slings and winches, to companies within the construction, utilities and infrastructure sectors. As a General Manager at GAP you will manage your own Profit Centre and influence all aspects of Depot Operations – from staff recruitment and motivation to purchasing equipment and supplies. You will be an experienced Team Leader or Manager looking for a new and exciting challenge, able to lead your team to perform at their best and generate new ideas to drive your depot forwards and be at the forefront of customer interaction.
AboutYou
- Preferably have experience within a Team Leader/Manager role, gained within the lifting or hire industry
- An understanding of lifting equipment, hire products and the customer base within Glasgow would be highly beneficial
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop a high‑performing team who can deliver results and exceed customer expectations
- Previous experience and accountability for the profit and loss of business operations and a keen eye for business development opportunities
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and provide solutions for potential challenges within the workplace
- Proficient in MS Office packages including Excel and Word
- Full UK Driving Licence
