This role leads the delivery and execution of the Management Board’s global real estate strategy, focusing on rightsizing our footprint and modernising workplaces. It plays a pivotal part in reducing fixed premises cost per head, improving space flexibility, and enhancing the quality of workplace services for our legal delivery teams worldwide.
The TeamThe role sits within Workplace & Legal Support Services, partnering closely with Regional COOs, Property & Facilities Management teams, and wider business services functions. The team is responsible for delivering consistent, high‑quality workplace experiences globally, supporting hybrid working, and driving continuous improvement across workplace operations.
Essential Skills & Experience Workplace Strategy & Standards- Experience setting and maintaining high workplace standards within a large, complex organisation
- Strong understanding of global workplace trends, hybrid working models and space optimisation
- Ability to continuously benchmark and evolve workplace guidelines to meet changing business needs
- Demonstrable experience managing brokers, designers, construction contractors and regional FM teams
- Proven ability to deliver office fit‑outs, relocations, refurbishments or openings end‑to‑end
- Strong governance, value engineering and budgetary control skills
- Ability to maintain accurate lease and occupancy data and leverage it for strategic planning
- Skilled at preparing management reporting, insights, analysis and recommendations
- Evidence-based decision maker with strong judgement under pressure
- Ability to build strong internal networks across business services and practice groups
- Clear and confident communicator able to align diverse stakeholders
- Commitment to driving continuous development, feedback and performance improvement
