THE ROLE

Restructuring and Recovery Manager/Senior Manager - Glasgow

As a Manager/Senior Manager in the Restructuring team, you will lead complex restructuring and insolvency cases, work closely with stakeholders, and provide strategic advice and technical expertise. You will support the team in delivering high-quality service, developing new business opportunities, and contributing to the department's success.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the administration of complex restructuring cases, supporting licensed insolvency practitioners.
  • Providing advice to company directors, shareholders, creditors, and debtors.
  • Preparing proposal documents for review.
  • Maintaining and developing technical knowledge of restructuring advisory work.
  • Producing detailed advice, recommendations, reports, and presentations.
  • Researching new legislation and identifying new case opportunities.
  • Participating in management and business development activities.
  • Experience and skills required:

  • Experience in case administration within restructuring or insolvency teams.
  • CPI or JIE qualification is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and client-facing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
