Commercial Director (M&E) – Glasgow
Salary: £100,000-£120,000 + Bonus + Benefits

We’re seeking a Commercial Director (M&E) to lead commercial strategy, drive profitability, and strengthen client relationships for a major building services contractor based in Glasgow. This is a senior leadership role for someone who thrives on shaping commercial frameworks, negotiating high‑value contracts, and steering business growth across complex M&E projects.

• Commercial Leadership – Own the commercial strategy across all M&E projects, ensuring robust governance, risk management, and margin protection.

• Contract Management – Lead negotiation and administration of NEC/JCT contracts, ensuring compliance and commercial clarity.

• Business Growth – Identify new revenue opportunities, support bids, and strengthen market positioning.

• Financial Oversight – Oversee cost planning, forecasting, and commercial reporting to board level.

• Team Leadership – Mentor and develop a high‑performing commercial team across pre‑construction and delivery.

• Stakeholder Engagement – Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal delivery teams.

• Proven experience as a senior commercial leader within the M&E contracting or building services sector.

• Strong understanding of NEC/JCT contract frameworks.

• Demonstrable success in profit optimisation
