Pareto FM is seeking a professional, customer-focused Workplace & Soft Services Manager to lead the delivery of workplace services at a prestigious client site. This is a highly visible, client-facing role responsible for managing Front of House, Cleaning Services, and Grounds Maintenance, ensuring an exceptional workplace experience for employees, visitors, and stakeholders. We’re looking for someone who can build strong client relationships, lead high-performing teams, drive service excellence, and create a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment.

The Role

As Workplace & Soft Services Manager, you’ll take ownership of all workplace and soft services operations across the site, ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with client expectations. You’ll act as the primary point of contact for workplace services, managing service partners, driving performance, and identifying opportunities to continuously improve the workplace experience.

What You’ll Be Doing Workplace Experience & Client Engagement
  • Act as the day‑to‑day lead for workplace and soft services delivery
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders
  • Ensure services align with client expectations and business objectives
  • Lead regular client meetings and service reviews
  • Identify opportunities for service enhancement and innovation
Front of House Management
  • Lead and develop the Front of House team
  • Ensure a professional and welcoming experience for all visitors
  • Manage reception and visitor processes effectively
  • Maintain high presentation standards across public‑facing areas
  • Support events, meetings, and hospitality requirements
Cleaning & Grounds Services
  • Manage cleaning operations and service delivery across the site
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and quality checks to maintain standards
  • Monitor compliance, cleaning schedules, and service performance
  • Manage cleaning consumables and associated budgets
  • Oversee grounds maintenance contractors and external service delivery
  • Ensure external areas remain safe, attractive, and well maintained throughout the year
Leadership, Compliance & Performance
  • Lead, motivate, and develop site‑based teams
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training activities
  • Ensure services are delivered safely and in compliance with all requirements
  • Review risk assessments and safe systems of work
  • Manage contractors and service partners in line with site procedures
  • Produce reports, KPI data, and service performance updates
  • Monitor budgets and identify opportunities for efficiencies
  • Drive service improvement plans and corrective actions where required
What We’re Looking For Essential
  • Experience managing workplace, soft services, or facilities management operations
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Experience managing Front of House and Cleaning Services teams
  • Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities
  • Good understanding of health & safety requirements
  • Experience producing reports and analysing performance data
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Desirable
  • IWFM qualification or equivalent
  • Experience with in a corporate office environment
  • Knowledge of grounds maintenance and landscaping services
  • IOSH Managing Safely qualification
