Commercial Director (M&E) - Glasgow Salary: £100,000-£120,000  Bonus  Benefits

Role Overview We're seeking a Commercial Director (M&E) to lead commercial strategy, drive profitability, and strengthen client relationships for a major building services contractor based in Glasgow. This is a senior leadership role for someone who thrives on shaping commercial frameworks, negotiating high-value contracts, and steering business growth across complex M&E projects.

Key Responsibilities Commercial Leadership
- Own the commercial strategy across all M&E projects, ensuring robust governance, risk management, and margin protection. Contract Management
- Lead negotiation and administration of NEC/JCT contracts, ensuring compliance and commercial clarity. Business Growth
- Identify new revenue opportunities, support bids, and strengthen market positioning. Financial Oversight
- Oversee cost planning, forecasting, and commercial reporting to board level. Team Leadership
- Mentor and develop a high-performing commercial team across pre-construction and delivery. Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal delivery teams. About You Proven experience as a senior commercial leader within the M&E contracting or building services sector. Strong understanding of NEC/JCT contract frameworks. Demonstrable success in profit optimisation , risk management , and commercial governance . Confident communicator with the ability to influence at board level. Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to delivery.
