Business Development Director – Fire Safety
We are looking for a Business Development Director to lead the business development activities within the Fire Safety Practice business unit, and collaborate with the wider UK BD teams to develop leads and client relationships with a focus on fire damper surveys and maintenance, fire compartmentation, fire door inspections and fire risk assessments.
Develop strategic growth initiatives and actions with specific clients and sectors.
Align the Group services to ensure a combined offering for both proactive opportunities and reactive scoping.
Proactive client identification and engagement, dealing with incoming enquiries, understanding needs and scope/quoting packages of work and ensuring transition to PO/contract award prior to handover to Ops.
Skills and knowledge
- 10 years’ experience in the testing, inspection and certification sector
- Specific knowledge of fire services, particularly fire damper inspections & maintenance
Education and qualifications
- GCSE English, Mathematics and Science (A-C) or equivalent.
- A-Levels or equivalent
- Driving Licence
