Tree Surgeon - HV Timber Clearance

UK Tree Surgeons wanted for Ireland HV timber clearance. Lead crews, ensure safety and client standards. Strong communicator, driving licence required. Job Scope We are looking for Tree Surgeons from the UK to work in Ireland, to help manage timber crews for large scale HV Timber hazard clearance across Ireland and ensure that works are done to client specification and in accordance with SHEQ standards Needs to Have Min 3 years experience in a tree surgeon role At least one year of experience with an electrical utility All relevant H&S accreditation and certification (i.e. chainsaw, polesaw, climbing certificate) Full Drivers Licence Experience in managing teams in a fast paced and process driven environment IT proficiency - MS Office Needs to Do Responsible for site meetings and instructing crew on the daily tasks and highlight site hazards Responsible for ensuring that all relevant site documentation and client paperwork is completed accurately and as per client SLA Ensure work is completed in a safely and efficiently using company approved work methods in accordance with client specifications.

Responsible for completing your daily jobs on our system and that all steps in the relevant workflow are completed. Ensure that site is correctly organised and a safe system of work and protocols adhered to. Ensure that all crew are compliant with instructions regarding use of PPE and equipment Have an updated Health and Safety Plan available on site at all times and where additional hazards are identified to draw up task specific risk assessment and method statement.

Report any damage to company vehicles, tools or equipment to Plant Manager Record and report all accidents and near misses/good catches and submit to PM and H&S Manager in a timely fashion Responsible for the day-to-day implementation of the SHEQ systems on all sites Escalate any breaches of H&S outside of Crew Leaders remit to the Project Manager Needs to Be Strong communicator with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills Must take ownership for tasks and responsibilities Able to operate in a dynamic and fast paced organisation Proficient people manager and able to manage team to optimum performance Detailed orientated with proven organisational ability
