An award-winning Chartered Financial Planning firm based in central Glasgow is seeking an experienced Paraplanner & IFA Administration Team Manager to join the business as part of its continued growth strategy. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, client-centric financial planning advice, the firm is entering an exciting phase of expansion and is looking to appoint a talented leader to oversee its growing support functions.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced manager to make a significant impact within a highly respected and forward-thinking wealth management business. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the management, development and performance of both the Paraplanning and IFA Administration teams, ensuring the delivery of exceptional support to Advisers and an outstanding experience for clients. The role involves leading a team of 4 Paraplanners (2 Senior Paraplanners and 2 Trainee Paraplanners) and 4 IFA Administrators Working closely with Advisers, Directors and senior stakeholders, the Team Manager will oversee workflows, manage team performance, support recruitment activities and play a key role in delivering the firm's ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate and develop the Paraplanning and IFA Administration teams.
  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, coaching sessions and annual appraisals.
  • Manage team performance, productivity and professional development.
  • Oversee workflow allocation and resource planning to ensure service standards are consistently achieved.
  • Support the recruitment process, including interviewing and onboarding new team members.
  • Develop career progression pathways for trainees and experienced team members.
  • Ensure high standards of technical support and administration are maintained across the department.
  • Identify and implement operational improvements to increase efficiency and service delivery.
