Responsibilities- Lead all aspects of Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality within the project.
- Oversee the customer interface, including managing risks, planning responses, and resolving issues that arise.
- Establish and maintain governance arrangements that align with business management systems.
- Drive project delivery using industry best practices, continuous improvement initiatives, and innovative technology.
- Monitor programme performance, controlling profit and loss, and produce regular reporting.
- Manage third-party suppliers to achieve desired project outcomes.
- Coordinate project activities, manage dependencies, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Lead project reviews, close-out processes, and lessons learned initiatives.
- Extensive experience in project management, ideally within nuclear or highly regulated environments.
- Full project lifecycle experience, from bid stage to close-out.
- Strong understanding of project governance, contracting methodologies (e.g., NEC3, FIDIC), and stakeholder management.
- Recognised degree in engineering, project management, construction management, or equivalent.
- APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) (previously APMP); progressing towards Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) status.
- Knowledge of risk management, budgeting, cost control, and schedule management techniques.
- IOSH Managing Safely or higher safety qualification.
- Familiarity with nuclear industry standards and compliance frameworks.
