We are pleased to be recruiting for a
Senior Improvement Manager within our National Improvement Service (NIS), which collectively plays a key role in helping to continually improve the quality and impact of practice to children and families.
You will join a well-established NIS leadership team in the working closely with the existing Heads of Practice and Deputy Director for Performance and Quality Assurance, helping lead an innovative and crucial service that makes a difference for children through learning and development, quality assurance and auditing, commissioned support, multi-agency reviews and consultations.
This will include accountability for:
- Leading and overseeing key aspects of quality assurance and improvement across the organisation.
- Providing constructive feedback to teams and individuals to drive performance and professional development.
- Being part of a senior management team – responsible for management of a team of Improvement Managers.
- Collaborating with various departments to ensure alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
We are seeking a passionate and delivery-focused professional with:
- Demonstrated experience in Quality Assurance and Improvement methodologies in a Social Work capacity.
- Proven ability to undertake and provide effective feedback that leads to measurable impact.
- Strong frontline management experience with a focus on performance management.
- A successful track record of managing programmes of change
, with measurable outcomes.

We are flexible on your location, and it is reasonable to assume you will predominantly work remotely. However, as a senior leader you should expect to attend relevant offices for key meetings, which may include some overnight stays in different parts of the country.
