PTP Manager (Immediate Start - 6 Month Contract)
Glasgow | Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home) Up to £60,000 Immediate Start Required
Our client is seeking an experienced Purchase to Pay (PTP) Manager to join their finance operations team on an immediate basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on PTP professional who can step into a fast-paced environment, drive operational performance and provide leadership during a period of change.
This role requires someone with strong end-to-end PTP experience who can quickly assess priorities, manage day-to-day operations and support teams through process improvements and knowledge transfer initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee daily Purchase to Pay operations, ensuring continuity of service and effective workload management.
- Manage payment approval processes and ensure timely supplier payments.
- Handle escalated queries and drive resolution of complex issues.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
- Support operational teams by providing guidance, leadership and direction.
- Assist with knowledge transfer and capability building within wider shared service teams.
- Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements.
- Monitor performance, address backlogs and help drive operational efficiencies.
- Proven experience in a PTP Manager, AP Manager or Purchase Ledger Management role.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end Purchase to Pay processes.
- Previous experience managing teams and supporting operational delivery.
- Able to work in a hands-on capacity while providing leadership and direction.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience of driving process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Available to start immediately or at very short notice.
- Competitive salary of up to £60,000.
- Hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
