Facilities Manager

Mitie is looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to lead the delivery of FM services for a key client in Glasgow.

This is a Hard Services-led role
, requiring a proven background in managing engineering teams, M&E services, compliance, maintenance programmes and technical operations within a complex environment. Whilst you will also oversee Soft Services, the primary focus is driving Hard FM performance, compliance and service excellence.

• Lead the delivery of Hard FM services, including M&E, PPM, reactive maintenance and statutory compliance.
• Manage and develop engineering teams, supervisors and specialist contractors.
• Act as the main point of contact for the client, building strong and lasting relationships.
• Oversee Soft Services including cleaning, security and waste management.
• Ensure KPI, SLA, health & safety and compliance standards are achieved.
• Manage budgets, reporting, audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support the delivery of projects and contract improvements.

• Extensive Facilities Management experience with a strong Hard Services background.
• Proven track record managing engineers within complex, demanding environments.
• Experience working with challenging, high-profile clients and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of M&E services, statutory compliance and building services.
• Experience overseeing Soft Services as part of an integrated FM contract.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and contract performance.
• IOSH or NEBOSH qualification desirable.
• Relevant Facilities Management, Engineering or Technical qualification desirable.
