Zachary Daniels Retail Recruitment is partnering with a leading UK retailer to recruit an exceptional Regional Manager to oversee a portfolio of circa 20 stores across Scotland.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven retail leader to take ownership of a significant multi-site operation, developing Store Managers, driving commercial performance and ensuring consistently high operational standards across the region.
We're looking for an energetic, resilient and people-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, has a strong commercial mindset and knows how to inspire teams to deliver exceptional results.
The Role- Lead and develop a portfolio of circa 20 stores, inspiring Store Managers to achieve their full potential.
- Take ownership of regional sales, profitability, productivity and key commercial KPIs.
- Drive operational excellence, customer experience and consistently high retail standards.
- Analyse trading performance and identify opportunities to maximise sales and profitability.
- Develop talent, strengthen succession planning and build high-performing management teams.
- Manage regional budgets, payroll and costs while maintaining operational effectiveness.
- Coach and challenge Store Managers, creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Lead business initiatives and work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver wider company objectives.
- Maintain a strong presence across Scotland, responding effectively to trading challenges and changing priorities.
- Proven experience as a Regional Manager or senior multi-site retail leader.
- A strong track record of leading multiple stores and delivering commercial results.
- Experienced in developing Store Managers and leading large, geographically dispersed teams.
- Commercially astute, with a strong understanding of P&L, sales, profitability and cost management.
- Resilient, decisive and comfortable operating at pace in a changing retail environment.
- An inspirational leader who can coach, motivate and hold teams accountable.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategic priorities with store-level execution.
