General SummaryFabricate and weld pipework to drawing specifications, ensuring traceability during the Non‑Destructive Testing process. Build and develop a close relationship with the NDT department. Work to ASME 9 welding code.
Key Accountabilities- Fabricate and weld pipework to drawing specifications and to the planned schedule as directed by line manager.
- Experienced in small to medium size fabrication of pipework, assemblies and structures.
- Work to WPSs, health and safety, and welds up to X‑ray quality.
- Able to work in a small team, with quality and time pressures, self‑motivated.
- Obtain materials from store areas including manual lifting and handling up to 30 kg.
- Material identification and allocation.
- Material deliveries.
- Document control.
- TIG, MIG, FCAW, MMA preferred.
- ASME IX, BS EN 15609/15614 level considered.
- Existing trade test certificates (LRQA, DNV, etc.) beneficial.

Physical Demands- Required daily to stand, sit, walk, talk, hear, and see (specific close vision required to perform computer work).
- Required occasionally to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
- Required daily to use hands and fingers and arms to reach (to operate a computer and telephone).
- Required occasionally to lift and/or move objects that are light to moderate.
- Required occasionally to travel (usually by air or road, may be required to sit for extended periods).
- Ability to work with moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phone, and printers).
- Ability to work in an open planned office / individual office.
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for extended periods.
- Ability to sit in a car or on a plane for extended periods.
