Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Nights) - FMCG
Shift: 4 on / 4 off, 6pm-6am
Salary: 53,500
A growing FMCG business is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join its night shift team during a period of major site investment and automation.
The Role- Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance on production and packaging equipment
- Respond to breakdowns with effective fault-finding to minimise downtime
- Complete maintenance records, root cause analysis, and parts usage via CMMS
- Support the PPM programme and continuous improvement activities
- Maintain high standards of food safety, H&S, and quality compliance
- Work closely with production and engineering teams
- Time-served or qualified Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Manufacturing or FMCG experience desirable
- Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
- Proactive, flexible team player
