MULTI-SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Glasgow
Salary: £44,000 – £50,000
Shift: 4 on 4 off (Nights)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established, fast‑paced manufacturing site in Glasgow.

You’ll be part of a supportive and close‑knit engineering team

This is a hands‑on role where you’ll play a key part in keeping production running efficiently
, minimising downtime, and driving continuous improvement across site.

• Electrical and mechanical fault finding on production machinery
• Reactive maintenance to minimise downtime
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
  
  Working closely with production teams to drive efficiency

Factory Maintenance / Manufacturing

We are open to engineers from varied backgrounds
, including:

• Manufacturing / factory environments
• Forces / ex‑military (REME, Navy, RAF engineering)
• Industrial, plant, or heavy engineering environments

If you have strong fault‑finding skills and the right attitude,
training can be provided to bridge any gaps into manufacturing
.

• Multi‑skilled maintenance experience (electrical & mechanical)
• Hands‑on experience with PPM and breakdown maintenance
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving ability

• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical – NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
• Electrical and mechanical fault‑finding experience
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment

• PLC fault finding (Siemens / Allen Bradley – inputs & outputs)
• Previous manufacturing experience
