Picking Operative

Salary - £12.74ph plus Veolia benefits. Hours - 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00. Date pending – this will then go to 3 shifts that will be 6am‑2pm, 2pm‑10am and 10am‑6pm on a rotating basis, changing shifts every week. Location – Battlefield Plastics Recycling Facility, Battlefield Way, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY1 3EQ

• Quality control inspection to ensure proper separation: identify and remove specified materials from designated picking lines.
• Operating sorting equipment and machinery.
• Help maintain a tidy site at all times.
• Meet all output specifications according to client and customer targets.
• Communicate operational information to the plant shift supervisor.
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.

• Excellent communication skills.
• Similar operational manual handling experience.
