CNC Machinist Apprenticeship

More specifically, we are a specialist, high technology company engaged in the bespoke design, development and manufacture of ultrasonic array transducers for both commercial and defence markets. Come and join our highly skilled team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Glasgow.

About The Role:

The role is based in a high-tech production environment where attention to detail is essential. We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals who are able to achieve accurate results to a very high standard and quality requirements.

This apprenticeship program will be a 4-year SVQ 3 course, attending Glasgow Clyde College (Anniesland Campus).This is a hybrid role combining academic and hands on industry training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine bespoke high precision components to engineering drawings
• Understand dimensions and tolerances on engineering drawings
• Experience using vernier calipers, micrometers, dial indicators and gauges
• Understand CNC machine operation and basic CNC programming
• Working within ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards
