We are working with a leading UK rocket launch provider that is looking to recruit a Storekeeper on an initial 12-month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing space company developing launch vehicle technology. You'll play a key role in ensuring materials and components are received, stored and issued efficiently to support production and testing activities.

Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect and book in deliveries against purchase orders.
  • Pick, pack and issue materials and components to production teams.
  • Maintain accurate stock records using the ERP system.
  • Carry out regular cycle counts and stock audits.
  • Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
  • Ensure full traceability of parts, materials and documentation.
  • Store materials safely and in line with company procedures.
  • Prepare goods for dispatch, including packaging and shipping documentation.
  • Work closely with Production, Purchasing, Quality and Logistics teams to ensure materials are available when required.
  • Monitor stock levels and highlight shortages to the Purchasing team.
  • Support continuous improvement within the stores function.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
  • Follow all quality, health and safety procedures.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Storekeeper, Stores Operative, Material Controller or Warehouse Operative within an engineering, manufacturing, aerospace or automotive environment.
  • Experience using an ERP/MRP system (SAP experience is advantageous).
  • Good understanding of inventory management and stock control.
  • Experience handling engineering components and technical parts.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to prioritise work in a fast-paced environment.
