Join Our Mix Room PM Shift as a Production Operative!

We have exciting opportunity for a Production Operatives to join our Mix Room PM Shift
. This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role at the heart of our pastry production, perfect for someone who enjoys physical work, and producing high‑quality food products.

Hours of Work: 14:00–00:30 (with 2 x 30‑minute unpaid breaks), Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
Hourly Rate: £13.21 per hour
Enhanced Rate: £16.51 per hour for hours worked between 20:00–06:00 or hours over 37.5 per week

Machine Setup

• Set up scales and mixers at the start of each shift to ensure production can begin smoothly.

Ingredient Preparation

• Decant and prepare ingredients for Mix Prep and Production Line teams.
• Weigh out ingredients precisely following bespoke recipes.

Product Safety & Traceability

• Record batch numbers and maintain full traceability of all raw ingredients and completed mixes.

Production Support

• Keep production lines well‑supplied throughout your shift.
• Operate mixers to ensure every mix is perfectly blended.
• Prepare glaze for pastry products, ensuring consistency and quality.

Waste & Hygiene Management

• Minimise waste and dispose of it correctly to maintain a clean, safe working environment.

Teamwork & Training

• Work as part of a close‑knitted team with a dedicated Team Leader.
• Complete a comprehensive training programme to develop your food manufacturing skills.

Please note: This is a physically demanding role that involves lifting up to 25kg and being on your feet for most of the shift.
