Production Assistant

The Role

Are you hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and looking to build a career within a manufacturing environment? We're looking for a Production Assistant to support our operations through assembly, inspection, packing, and documentation activities that help ensure products are delivered to customers safely, accurately, and on time.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in producing high‑quality work. Previous packing or manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided to the right candidate.

What you will be doing…
  • Performing final assembly activities in line with documented procedures.
  • Packing finished goods, accessories, and defective items accurately and efficiently.
  • Preparing customer orders for dispatch.
  • Processing and returning defective goods to suppliers in accordance with company procedures.
  • Inspecting incoming goods and assessing returned products.
  • Completing and maintaining accurate electronic records and documentation.
  • Ensuring all paperwork and system updates are completed to company standards.
  • Supporting quality, safety, and operational excellence across the department.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  • Working closely with colleagues to meet production and customer delivery requirements.
About You

Essential
  • Minimum High School education or equivalent.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic computer literacy and confidence using digital systems.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks.
  • A proactive approach to problem‑solving.
  • High standards of professionalism and integrity.
Desirable
  • Experience in a packing, warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment.
  • Experience completing quality inspections.
  • Familiarity with inventory or dispatch processes.
  • Experience using lifting equipment or small hand tools.
  • Experience working with documentation and computerised record‑keeping systems.
