CNC Turning Machine Setter/Operator?? Dudley, West Midlands £34,632 - £36,540 per annum (£18.00 - £19.00 per hour DOE) Days Shift | Early Friday Finish | Overtime Available Excellent Opportunity with a Leading Aerospace Manufacturer We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected aerospace manufacturing company based in Dudley. Due to continued growth and investment in new machinery, our client is looking to add an experienced CNC Turning Machine Setter/Operator to their skilled machining team.

The Role As a CNC Turning Machine Setter/Operator, you will be responsible for setting, programming and operating a range of CNC lathes to manufacture precision-engineered aerospace components to exacting quality standards.
Key Responsibilities Setting, programming and operating CNC lathes. Working on modern machinery, including 5 new DN Puma CNC lathes. Producing precision bearing and aerospace components. Programming using Fanuc controls and CAD/CAM software. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings. Conducting self-inspection using precision measuring equipment. Maintaining high quality standards and production efficiency. Supporting a safe and well-organised working environment. What We're Looking For Minimum 2 years' experience programming and operating Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes.
Experience setting and operating CNC turning centres. Ability to use CAD/CAM software for programming. Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances. Experience using micrometers, verniers, depth micrometers and other inspection equipment. Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail. Aerospace or precision engineering experience would be advantageous. Working Hours Monday to Thursday 7:30am 4:15pm Friday 7:30am 12:00pm Overtime Available Monday to Thursday:
Paid at 1.333x standard rate Friday and Saturday:
