People Solutions are currently recruiting for a CNC Saw Operator - Glasgow, G51 to join our well-established client based in Glasgow, G51
.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering £13.00 per hour, Monday to Friday daytime working, long-term ongoing work and full in-house CNC training for the right candidate.
£13.00 PER HOUR | MONDAY TO FRIDAY | DAYTIME HOURS | FULL CNC TRAINING | LONG-TERM ONGOING WORKThis role would suit candidates with experience as a CNC Saw Operator, CNC Operator, Machine Operator, Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative or Engineering Operative
.
Previous CNC saw operating experience would be advantageous; however, full in-house training is available for candidates with suitable manufacturing or machine operating experience, strong measuring skills and a willingness to develop their CNC skills.
Shifts- Monday to Thursday - 08:00 to 16:45
- Friday - 08:00 to 15:00
- 39.5 hours per week

- Operating CNC machinery safely and accurately
- Using hand tools and measuring equipment
- Reading and following technical and engineering drawings
- Producing components to required measurements and tolerances
- Inspecting finished components for quality and accuracy
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality
- Keeping CNC machinery, tools and work areas clean and well maintained
- Working with the production team to achieve daily targets
- Following all site health and safety procedures
- Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience
- Good numeracy and accurate measuring skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using hand tools and measuring equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and work accurately
- Reliable and punctual approach
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to learn and develop CNC machining skills
- Ability to reliably travel to Glasgow G51 for an 08:00 start
- Previous CNC saw operating experience
- Previous experience within a CNC or manufacturing environment
- Experience reading technical or engineering drawings
