Experience with window/door manufacturing essential. Hays are partnering with a well-established and growing manufacturer within the PVC windows and composite doors sector to recruit a Production Manager for their Ballymoney facility. This is a key leadership appointment offering the opportunity to take responsibility for factory performance, team management and operational excellence.
Your new role As Production Manager, you will lead the day-to-day manufacturing operation, ensuring production targets, quality standards and delivery deadlines are consistently achieved. You will oversee production planning, manage factory teams and drive continuous improvement across the site.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing daily production schedules and workflow
Leading, motivating and developing production teams
Ensuring quality, output and KPI targets are achieved
Coordinating labour, materials and resources effectively
Driving health & safety standards across the factory
Troubleshooting production issues and implementing solutions
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives What you'll need to succeed PVC windows and composite doors manufacturing experience is ESSENTIAL.Applicants must demonstrate:
Previous Production Management experience within a PVC windows and doors manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of PVC fabrication, assembly and production processes
Experience managing teams within a fast-paced manufacturing setting
Excellent organisational and planning skills
Strong communication and leadership abilitiesA hands-on approach with the ability to drive performance and accountability
Please note:
Candidates without direct PVC window and door manufacturing experience will not be considered for this position.
