Welder Fabricator

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm

We are currently looking for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join a busy team based in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual looking for a stable, Monday-to-Friday position with a competitive salary of up to £35,000, plus overtime paid at time and a half.

The successful candidate will be confident working from engineering drawings, carrying out fabrication work, and producing high-quality welds to meet required specifications and standards.

• Carry out fabrication and welding duties to a high standard.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Measure, mark out, cut, form and assemble metal components.
• Perform welding using appropriate processes, such as MIG and/or TIG, depending on project requirements.
• Ensure all work meets quality, safety and production standards.
• Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet deadlines and production targets.

• Previous experience in a fabrication and welding role.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Competent in relevant welding techniques, ideally MIG and/or TIG.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong understanding of workshop health and safety procedures.

• Salary up to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
• Overtime paid at 1.5x your standard rate.
• Monday-to-Friday working pattern.
• Day shift: 7:00am – 4:30pm.
